The proposed <br />Amendment area is located approximately 1.1 mile east of the State Highway 92 <br />intersection with US Highway 50 near 1675 Road. <br />Among the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology requirements to file for an <br />• Amendment to a Reclamation Permit, is that United Companies must notify the Soil <br />Conservation Service if the gravel mine is within the boundaries of a soil conservation <br />district. The "Notice Of Filing Application" form that is attached constitutes the required <br />notification. <br />Also required by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board is proof that the <br />required notification was delivered to the Board of Supervisors of the Soil Conservation <br />District. Please sign and date each of the two copies of this letter. United Companies will <br />use one of these signed letters as proof of service of this notification.
