The City's Easement is located on the Ridgen
Mine north of Horsetooth Road.
City staff has met with representatives of Lafarge North America and has reviewed the
construction plans for the Conveyor Belt. The plans are acceptable provided that when
the caissons are removed, they will have adequate ground cover so that they will not
interfere with the City's maintenance operations. Lafarge has confirmed that they will
maintain a minimum of two feet of ground cover upon removal of the caissons. With this
understanding, the City of Fort Collins has no objection to the Conveyor crossing.
Please contact me if you have further questions.
Sincerely,
CI Y OF FO T C LEJS
_~
im Hibbard
Manager of Water Engineering & Field Services Department
cc: Eric Reckentine
Mark Severin
Jennifer Vecchi
700 Wood St. • P.O.
