These revisions aze based on Knight Piesold's review of the Standazd Specifications <br />5 based on the scope of the Priority Basin 1 construction and comments received on prior sediment <br />6 pond design technical specifications. <br />7 <br />8 2.1 General <br />9 <br />10 This project will be constructed using English units. All measurements, tolerances, <br />I I and specifications will use English units. <br />12 The word "Department" shall be replaced with "American Gypsum Company." <br />13 The word "Engineer" shall be replaced with "Engineer or American Gypsum <br />14 Company Representative." <br />15 <br />16 2.2 Section 200 -Earthwork <br />17 2.2.1 Section 201- Clearing and Grubbing <br />18 No revisions to this section are made. <br />19 <br />20 2.2.2 Section 203 -Excavation and Embankment <br />21 Section 203 of the Standard Specifications is hereby revised for this project as Follows: <br />22 <br />23 In subsection 203.03, delete items (c) Much Excavation, and (f), Potholing. <br />24 In subsection 203.05, delete items (c) Much Excavation, and (f), Potholing. <br />25 Delete subsection 203.10, Blading. <br />26 Delete subsection 203.11, Dozing. <br />27 In subsection 203.12, delete items (d), Blading and Dozing, and (e), Potholing. <br />28 <br />29 2.2.3 Section 206 -Excavation and Backfill for Structures <br />30 Section 206 of the Standard Specifications is hereby revised for this project as follows: <br />31 <br />32 In subsection 206.2, General, delete all except pazagraph 1 and paragraph 1 of items <br />33 (a) and (b), references to flowfill and filter material. <br />34 In subsection 206.2, General, add the following pazagraph: <br />35 - All structure backfill for this project shall be Class 2 structure backfill. <br />36 In subsection 206.3, Structure Excavation and Structure Backfill, delete paragraph 5 <br />37 and paragraphs 12 through 14, references to flowfill and compaction to surrounding <br />38 earth density. <br />2-1 <br />G'1101\00100021F1Reports\KP1Tetlmical Spscifcations.tlac February 3, ZOW <br />~J <br />
