~r

Exhibit E
Paget
site prior to backfilling at any time. After this material has been backfilled it will be covered with
6 inches of topsoil and seeded with a grass mix. A possible future waste and fill area is indicated
on the plan.
The mixture of grass seed used for reclamation depends upon the availability of the seed and the
conditions of the area to be seeded. Using a list of possible grasses provided by the Soil
Conservation Service, the following seed mix will be used as recommended by the DMG in the 2003
amendment AM-1 application.
Tvoe % of Mix Seed Rate*
Fairway Crested Wheatgrass 25 2.0
Switchgrass (Nebr 28) 25 1.0
Western Wheatgrass (Barton) 25 3.5
Side Oates Grama (Vaughn) 25 3.0 _
9.5
*lbs/Acre P.L.S., double rate for broadcast seeding.
The haul roads will remain for access to the lakes and the batch plant and office area will also remain
at their present locations. As can be seen from the attached maps labeled Exhibit C and Exhibit F.
Most ofthe existing trees in the area will not be disturbed. The lakes will be stocked with game fish
that will reproduce.
Final reclamation will be completed in the last six to twelve months of the Mining and Reclamation
Plan as indicated by the time schedule found in Exhibit D.
