The system consists of approximately 12 acres of geomembrane lined
surface area along the West Pit reclaimed surface which acts to collect and divert
unevapora[ed water back to a lined staging pond which facilitates recirculation of
the water back to the mechanical evaporation system. System surface cisturbance
is included in the re-grading and topsoil cost estimates presented above with the
West Pit. Obligated reclamation costs are associated with the Wes[ Pit
evaporation system dismantling and removal of the electrical supply installations,
the geomembrane liner material, supply pumps, supply piping, concrete
foundations, mechanical evaporative equipment, and wildlife fencing. Shepherd
Miller Inc. estimated this cost to be $60,000
TOTAL WEST PIT EVAPORATIVE SYSTEM
RECLAMATION COST '~~ p~~ ``~~
REMAINING RECLAMATION COST OBLIGATION -$60,09@-
TOTAL EAST AND WEST P[T
REMAINING RECLAMATION OBLIGATION .$5-93;4-+- /
PRELIMINARY DRAFT
FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES ONLY
