Gonima, Deb
From: Schreiner, Tom
Sent: Friday, June 23, 2006 4:24 PM
To: Gonima, Deb
Subject: RE: DMG Letter (3811-DMG)
Hi Deb,
Rick & I will be out until wednesday ... I'll work on the Siegrist AM review next
wednesday & thursday. I'll be making final edits to Chris's comments and also reviewing
the riprap info.
As for your meeting on monday ... Urban Drainage & Flood Control District has specific
criteria (in back of our In-Stream Gravel Mining Guidance Document) for embankment and
riprap design/installation. We will want to make sure we have a commitment from Siegrist
to submit certified as-built designs & certification from registered P.E. that embankment
is geotechnically stable and capable of withstanding the flows/velocities from a 100-year
flood event. Also, we would prefer that there be a registered P.E. or other qualified
person overseeing the installation to make sure riprap is properly graded ~ placed, not
end dumped from the back of a large rock truck. See ya wednesday.
Tom
-----Original Message-----
From: Gonima, Deb
Sent: Friday, June 23, 2006 9:56 AM
To: Mount, Carl; Schreiner, Tom; Rowe, Chris; Wenzel, Richard; Sorenson, Allen
Subject: FW: DMG Letter (3811-DMG)
FYI - This is the latest on the tentative plan for the Siegrist project regarding their
submission to us.
-Deb
-----Original Message-----
From: Jodi Villa [mailto:JVi11a~Meurer.com]
Sent: Friday, June 23, 2006 9:45 AM
To: 'Gonima, Deb'
Subject: RE: DMG Letter (3811-DMG)
Terracon is working hard to address your rip rap comments, and we are
meeting with them to go over the submittal on Monday morning. We will
submit the information, along with a letter requesting an extention,
probably Monday afternoon (Tuesday at the latest, of course).
-----Original Message-----
From: Gonima, Deb [mailto:deb.gonima~state.co.us]
Sent: Friday, June 23, 2006 9:41 AM
To: Jodi Villa
Subject: RE: DMG Letter (3811-DMG)
Sounds good. Let's just say that if I get anything associated to this permit
I'll £ax it to you, too.
Any word on the extension to the decision date letter?
What's your plan?
-Deb
Deb Gonima
Environmental Protection Specialist
