SOP: Water <br />Level Measurement <br />G. Decontaminate the instrument with an Alconox and water scrub, a distilled water rinse, a solvent rinse, <br />and another distilled water rinse between each well in accordance with the Field Sampling Equipment <br />Decontamination SOP. <br />H. Lock the well when measurement activities are completed. <br />VII. Waste Management <br />Equipment decontamination rinsate and disposable materials (PPE, etc.), will be managed as specified in the <br />Mine Health and Safety Plan. <br />VIII. Data Recording and Management <br />Groundwater-level measurements should be documented in the field logbook. The following information will <br />be documented in the Feld logbook: <br />• Sample identification; <br />• Measurement time; <br />• Total well depth; and <br />• Depth to water. <br />IX. Quality Assurance <br />The water-level indicator tape may need to be weighted for deeper monitoring wells. The amount of weight <br />added should be sufficient enough to keep the water-level indicator tape straight. <br />X.
