This gravel pit is <br />known as the Sandco Inc. pit, Division of Minerals and Geology permit no. M-1987-064. <br />4) The approval of this permit does not grant a water right This gravel pit pond is subject to administration by me Division <br />Engineer in accordance with applicable decrees, statutes, rules and regulations. <br />5) The maximum pumping rate shall not exceed 350 GPM both during cravef mining operaiiorts and after grave( m"ruing <br />operations are completed. <br />B} The average annual amount of ground water to be appropriated shat) not exceed 123 acre-feet during gravel mining <br />operations, and 101.5 acre-feet after gravel mining operations are completed. The total sudace area of the proposed <br />ground water pond is limited to 45 2cres. <br />7) t7uring gravel mining operations the use of ground water is limited to ircigation. dust suppressron, and evaporatfon. Upon <br />completion of gravel mining operations the use of ground water is limited to irrigation and evaporation. No other use of <br />water is allowed unless a permit therefor is approved. Water from this well shall nut be used for human consumption <br />without separate approval from the Board of Examiners of W afar Well Construction and Pump tnsfallalion Contractors. <br />ej The owner shaft mark the gravel pit pond in a conspicuous place with welt permit number(s) and court case number(s) as <br />appropriate. The owner shall take necessary means and precautions to preserve these markings. <br />9) Pursuant b Rule 10.1.6 of the Water W ell Construction Rules, gravel pit wells are exempt from the minimum weU <br />construction standards except far contamination considerations as stated in the Rute.
