(American Soda) submitted a Technical Revision (TR-Ol) to its
112 Permit (No. M-99-002) by letter dated September 16, 1999. By memo dated October
13, 1999, CDMG identified an apparent freeboard inadequacy in ditch D-6. Upon
review, it has been determined that the ditch size is adequate. The freeboard
discrepancy is the result of an error in the ditch's capacity as presented in the
calculation. American Soda is hereby providing five copies of a revised page 8 to TR-Ol,
Attachment 2 diversion ditch calculations. The revised calculations show the corrected
capacity for diversion ditch D-6. Ditch D-6 provides adequate freeboard of more than
0.3 feet.
Please direct written correspondence to:
Kurt R.
