It was leveled and gr , :d to allow for loading of trucks and sto e of palleted stone and empty pallets . W xpect to widen this area to aopro dtely 2 acres . This is the first choice for buil , fig site to construct the proposed building to house the new diamond block saw and addit onal stone processing machinery . It would be the be t site be- cause of the closer proximity of electr c , gas and water service . It also contains more soft soil which lends itself to the construction of water settling and/or storage ponds or tanks for the operation of a recirculating water system to operate the saws and stone processing equipment One dis- advantage of this site is that it is closer to the residential area . The site is about 600 ft . from the nearest residence and 800 or more ft from most other residences . The saws and equipment will be housed in an enclosed building so should present no noise problem. Since we will be using heretofore unuseable large blocks for this process ng it will help greatly with the practical processing of large blocks of stone that have been build ng up and causing a disposal problem. It w 11 almost eliminate the buildup of large unuseabl blocks of stone and also provide the stone indust y with a new desirable product with many u es . The additional leveling of this area accomp fishes a needed reclamation of this 2 acres to a useable portion of land . The size of the build ng is expected to be 80 ' x 120 ' . See enclosed drawing of saw and building design . Also , we need to construct a caretakers residence on the same 40 acre 1 /4 as the saw building . The proposed saw bui d, ng sites are shown on the map as green , th proposed residence sites are shown as orange . 3
