As you and I have discussed several times over the past couple of weeks,
this Application to Amend is seeking an alternate access route to the 124`h Estates Sand
and Gravel Mine than what was originally approved by the Division. The access route
sought by these application materials is, however, one that has been approved by Adams
County, Commerce City, and the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Also enclosed is an application fee of $1,938.00. The Applicant will appreciate any
effort by the DMG to hasten the review of this Application to Amend, as the Applicant
and the City of Brighton, which has already purchased the mine site for its ultimate end
use of water storage, are ready to begin mining and anxious to complete reclamation of
the property next summer.
Please call me at 303-808-6359 or Les Ewegen at 303-667-1666, if you have questions or
need additional information.
Very T~rul`y Yours,
~~v`
Scott Keen
Cc: Les Ewegen
124`h Estates Partners, LLC -file
Attachments
