Exhibit I -Soils Information
Soils on the Henad and Schibli parcels are similar to those described by the original
application materials for DMG Permit No. M-2001-085. The principle soil encountered
will be Vona sandy loam, 0 to 1 percent slopes. Very small areas of Dacono loam, 0 to
percent slopes, Ascalon sandy loam; 3 to 5 percent slopes, and Terrace escarpments may
also be encountered.
Exhibit J -Vegetation Information
The most recent use of the Henad property east of the Fulton Ditch was agricultural,
although the land appeazs to have been idle for this year (2002) and possibly 2001. The
land is overgrown with weeds, although much of it has been mowed this summer in
anticipation of its sale. The land is well drained and dry. The Schibli lot was a residence;
however, the house on this property has been abandoned for many years, and the lawn
and gazden areas are overgrown with weeds.
Exhibit K -Climate
Information regarding climate, as presented in the original application materials for the
mining site, is still accurate and appropriate for this Application to Amend.
Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs
Reclamation of the area of the proposed access route will require grading to expose
native soils and to restore the land's natural contour, discing to loosen the soil, and
seeding. Reclamation costs aze estimated as follows:
Grading $150
(2 hours at $75.00 per hour for equipment and operator)
Discing $75
(1 hour at $7>.00 per hour for equipment and operator)
Seeding and Mulching $110
($110 per acre)
Equipment Mobilization/Demobilization $300
(3 hours at & 100 per hour)
Total $635
Exhibit M -Other Permits and Licenses
The Adams County Board of Commissioners has approved Conditional Use Permit No.
RCU2002-00005 to allow gravel mining at the 124a' Estates Sand and Gravel Mine.
Approval of this permit included approval by Commerce City and the County of a site
access route from 120' Avenue to the south boundary of the mining area, as sought by
Application to Amend - 6 - 124`s Estates Partners, LLC
DMG 112 Reclamation Permit M-2001-085 124`s Estates Sand and Gravel Mine
Scott Keen -September 2002 Henderson, Colorado
