<br />ATTACHMENT 1 <br />Technical Revision Responding to <br />Mining and Reclamation Permit No. M-99-002 Stipulation No. 3 <br />Including Fulfillment of the Requirements of Stipulation No. 2 <br />Revised MDL List <br />Stipulation No. 3 of Mining and Reclamation Permit (112 Permit) No. M-99-002 requires <br />American Soda to provide a Technical Revision to the 112 Permit evaluating and <br />revising the list of MDLs provided in Tables 2 and 3 (WQl and WQ2, respectively), <br />originally submitted to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (CDMG) as a <br />Technical Revision to the 112 Permit Application by letter dated ,4pri123, 1999. <br />Stipulation No. 3 states: "American Soda will provide a teclmicnl rez~isiou to incorporate a <br />revised list of analytical parameters for MDLs. The technical revision nutst be approved prior to <br />injection of solution mining fluids. The Division will provide copies of the proposed technical <br />revision to the objecting party to the application hearing and consider its comments on the <br />technical revision." <br />The following replacement Tables 2 and 3 include a revised list of MDLs established <br />through consultation with CDMG, American Soda, Steigers Corporation, and an EPA- <br />approved testing laboratory. Also note, the MDLs for cadmium, copper, silver, and <br />chloride have been established at their current levels to fulfill the requirement of <br />Stipulation No. 2 of the 112 Permit. <br />
