Bruce Humphries <br />Minerals Program Supervisor <br />Division of Minerals and Geology/ <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear Mr. Humphries: <br />JUL ~ 7 2006 <br />Division of Minerals and Gaolo9Y <br />International Uranium (USA) Corporation (the "Operator") hereby provides Notice of Intent to the <br />Colorado Division of Natural Resources, Division of Minerals &Geology of our intent to resume <br />uranium and vanadium mining operations at the following mines in San Miguel County, <br />Colorado: <br />• Sunday Mine, Permit M-1977-285 '~ <br />• Carnation Mine, Permit M-1977-416 a~ <br />• St. Jude Mine, Permit M-1978-039 HR ~` <br />• West Sunday Mine, Permit M-1981-021 r <br />• Topaz Mine, Permit, M-1980-055 <br />All of these mines have been on temporary cessation status since April 1999.
