The purpose of this survey was to establish monuments to be used to monitor movement
of soil adjacent to existing gas lines along the north and east sides of the proposed
sand and gravel extraction areas. The depths and locations of the pipelines were
established by pot holing the lines on 200± intervals, this was done by Mayo Welding.
Once the pot holing was completed we set a #6 rebar the length of the depth of the
holes, a 2 -1/2" aluminum cap was placed on the top of each rebar with center punch
and stamped with the point number of each hole. We established elevations of each
monument, as noted hereon. Coordinates of the reference points and PI's set to control
the lines are based upon coordinates established during topographic surveys of the site.
Stations of the points represent the distances between the points. Future surveys of
these points will be made to assess movement of the soil.
