Your request has been reviewed for the Board of Examiners of Water Well <br />Construction and Pump installation Contractors. The request is specifically for a variance from Rules <br />10.4.3 and 10.5.2.1. <br />Pursuant to Rule 18 and the authority granted by the Board, the required variance to rules <br />10.4.3 and 10.5.2.1 is granted subject to the following conditions:- <br />1) The well construction will be in accordance with the Water Well Construction Rules <br />except those Rules for which a variance was granted. <br />2) The Monitoring holes shall be constructed in a similar manner to the diagrams <br />provided. <br />3j Please provide a copy of this variance approval with the Notice of Intent to Construct <br />Monitoring Holes and Permit Applications submitted to this office. <br />Granting the request for variance to minimum water well construction standards does not <br />relieve the owner pf. potential responsibility or liability in the event contamination of the water source <br />results from such construction, nor does the grantor assume any responsibility or liability should . <br />contamination occur. <br />If you have any questions regarding this matter please contact this office. <br />Si rely, <br />~~~~/~~ <br />George D.
