Mr. Iaudeman forwarded the letter to me becattse, I am assigned the duty of <br />regulating solid waste activity in lake County. <br />I have reviewed the material that you submitted to Mr. Laudeman. Additionally, Mr. Bryce R. Romig, of the <br />Climax Molybdenum Company, contacted me and supplied me a copy of the analytical data obtained during <br />the Debris Chazacterization Study, of the Storke Yard Complex <br />As a result of reviewing the above mentioned material, the Division offers the following comment. <br />1. All wooden materials be removed from the on-site disposal stream. Untreated wood may <br />be chipped and used as mulch, rerycled through a different pcocess, or disposed of w an <br />approved municipal solid waste disposal facility. <br />The Division concurs with the environmental controls and assessment of the disposal plan contained in your <br />September 26, 1994 letter to Mr. Romig. The above comment should be inrnrporatcd as a condition of <br />approval for the disposal plan.
