Materials will be distributed and windrowed on-site in Spring
of 2003 before being processed through sand and gravel operation. Excavation
filled with clean, on-site materials to original grade,
Initial report received from Emergency Management Program on 12/02/02 with
several follow-up telephone conversations with Gene and Ron Richardson (RCI)
regarding clean-up efforts. Product apparently released from an aboveground
storage tank as a result of vandalism. Although original report indicated
fish had been killed, nobody apparently witnessed dead fish at site. Product
was an off-road diesel product which is colored with a red dye. No apparent
product on water or embackments based upon 12/17/02 site visit.
I believe the rest of the report you can read - I have attached the copy I
received for your review/file.
Should you have any other questions, please call me at the Lamar office and
I will be happy to assist - 719/336-3467.
Thank You.
Re pectfully,
Sharon A Hiner, co/owner
Secretary/Treasurer
R M HINER CONSTRUCTION CO INC
attachment
