SAN MIGUEL COUNTY
PLANNING DEPARTMENT
P.O. BOX 548 333 W. COLORADO AVENUE, 3~ FLOOR TELLURIDE, COLORADO 81435
TELEPHONE (970) 728-3083 FAX {970) 728-3098 email: smrnlannin¢Ca)telluridecolorado.net
PATHFINDER GRAVEL PTT -DEVELOPMENT PERMIT APPLICATION
dated October 9, 2002
per Settlement Agreement Article I
A Development Permit for the existing gravel access drive along the Rio Grande
Southern Railroad Right-of--Way from the intersection with the access from State
Highway SH 145 to the north boundary of the proposed road re-location (planned as
Phase III construction), a distance of approximately 750 linear feet, as depicted on the
Pathfinder Gravel Pit Access Permit Exhibit prepared by Foley Associates dated 10-02-
02 Project # 91043.
This permit is approved and issued based on and subject to the information and
representations provided by Gregory Anderson, P.E. in his letter addressed to Mike
Rozycki, Planning Director dated October 2, 2002 and the attached Pit Access Permit
Exhibit. This Development Permit does not authorize any additional improvements to this
access drive beyond what is currently in place.
The applicant has provided a Drainage Report prepared by Brian Hart, P.E. LANDesign,
received by the Planning Department June 13, 2003 that demonstrates to the County
Engineer's satisfaction that the existing 18-inch culvert within this section of the access
drive is properly sized, based on the design criteria and approach set forth in Mr. Hart's
drainage report, to convey the contributing drainage under the access road to the west
both before and after the proposed road realignment. The proposed improvements for
conveying the runoff from this existing culvert to a planned detention pond are depicted
on the Detention Pond & Storm Sewer Plans for the Pathfmder Gravel Pit Access Road
prepared by LANDesign, May 2003. These drainage and storm water improvements are
to be permitted and constructed as a part of the Development Permit for Pathfinder
Gravel Pit Access Road & Phase III Construction per the Pathfinder Settlement
Agreement.
Development Permit Issuance Date: July 21, 2003 ~19~~y
G~%~~ ,ll/~ 13204
Micha~cki Plannin Director ® auran
zY g /vls~on of ~8o qe~d
[texUpathfinder/dev.permit.rgsrr.row.rd] I d`ne~fS~OG~~o~
