Simpson, P.E. <br />State Engineer <br />CONDITIONS FOR APPROVAL <br />^ The proposed operation does not anticipate exposing groundwater. Therefore, exposure of ground <br />water must not occur during or after mining operations. <br />® The proposed operation will consume ground water by: ^ evaporation, ^ dust control, <br />reclamation, ^ water removed in the mined product, ^ processing, ^ other:. <br />An approved water supply plan or decreed plan for augmentation is required. <br />^ Prior to approving a well permit, the applicant must conduct a field inspection of the site and <br />document the locations of all wells within 600 feet of the permit area. The applicant must then <br />obtain a waiver of objection from all well owners with wells within 600 feet of the permit area or <br />request a hearing before the State Engineer. <br />^ Other: <br />COMMENTS: The site requires long term water treatment and will have a treatment facility. Applicant <br />states that 0.27 cfs has been deeded to the corporation for this use. However, prior to using the water for <br />this purpose the applicant must have a court decree changing the use of water and location of use. Prior to <br />the court decree, the applicant may operate under a substitute water supply plan, provided an application has <br />been submitted to water court. Applicant has not provided information in this application, Exhibit G to <br />determine if the court decree has been entered or if a substitute water supply plan has been authorized. <br />
