Dept. of Fletural Resources
1525 ShermanSt.
Denver, CO 802br3..
RE Thz— Anf:chut..-Co rpo ion/ zci nation Donds - -
Dear Mr. James:
Subsequent to our telephone conversation yesterday, I obtained from
the Anschutz Corporation copies of the permit application forms
respects the subject mine properties, and particularly of "Exhibit
E - Reclamation Plan". I am informed that no amendment was made to
the reclamation plans at the time of request for succession of
operator.
I have enclosed photocopies of the four reclamation plans for your
review. You will notice that they all address themselves to things
to be done upon the conclusion of mining, i.e. the removal of
structures and machinery, grading, seeding, etc. , within the area of
less than 10 acres afforded under the limited impact permit, and as
required under INSTRUCTIONS: EXHIBIT E - Reclamation Plan of the
LIMITED IMPACT AND SPECIAL PERMIT APPLICATION FORM.
Under these circumstances, I think you can feel confident that the
bond in its present form (provided by the State of Colorado) satis-
factorily guarantees the performance required by the reclamation
plan.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Cordially,
J
EDWARD T.
