! 0
EXHIBIT J
Vegetation Information
As stated in Exhibit H, this area has been severely grazed and a large prairie dog town covers
most of the site. In the southern portion of the site, little native vegetation exists, and weeds such
as whitetop and tansy mustard sparsely cover the site. Hay bale remnants are strewn throughout
the area. In the northern portion of the site there is more grassy vegetation consisting of
cheatgrass, sand dropseed. saltgrass and other grasses. Scattered peachleaf willows and
cottonwoods occur along the cast boundary.
Notes on Exhibit C - Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Map, indicate the relationship of the types of
vegetation to the existing topography. Notes on the soils map for Exhibit I - Soils Information,
indicate the relationship of the present vegetation to the soil types.
J-1
