Permit M-1978-039 HR
Revised Final Reclamation Map ~ ~~
Oiv~InlnoiRecla ~~ioo,
9 and Safety
International Uranium (USA) Corporation (the "Operator") hereby submits to the Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety (the "Division") two originals of the updated Final Reclamation Map for the St. Jude Mine,
Permit M-1978-039 HR. One of the original maps is intended for retention on the Division's Durango field
office.
The updated Final Reclamation Map shows the projected slopes of the external waste dump faces. There are
portions of the dump faces where material will have to be transported laterally, as there is insufficient room to
doze all material down slope to attain the reclamation gradient while staying within the existing Disturbed Area
limits. Given the short material transport distances involved in this reclamation work, lateral movement can
be accomplished using a dozer and a backhoe, with the backhoe cutting benches on the slope face and either
casting material to the dozer or loading trucks if necessary. The backhoe can also pull bench crests back to
minimize material rolling down slope in areas with minimal dozing space.
The updated Final Reclamation Map is not appreciably changed from the version submitted previously. The
reclamation contours shown are approximate.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Yours very truly,
INTERNATIONAL URANIUM (USAJ CORPORATION
y~~~`~
Terry V.
