Executive Director <br />1590 West 12th Avenue Ronald W, Cattany <br />Denver, C~ 80204 Acting Division Director <br />Subject: Revised Bond for Courtner Pit M-1986-159 Amendment, AM-O1 <br />Dear Mr. Reckentine: <br />I am writing to inform you that as part of your amendment application the Division of Minerals and Geology <br />has re-calculated the bond for the subject operation pursuant to part 4.2.1(2) of the Mineral Rules and <br />Regulations. <br />The original bond amount of $ 44,600.00 is based upon approximately 20 acres of disturbed land and is found <br />to be insufficient for the amended operation. The newly calculated bond amount is $ 73,556.00 based upon a <br />maximum of approximately 49 acres of disturbance including the acreage to be added to your permit in <br />amendment 1. <br />As this bond is a condition to complete your amendment, please provide a bond in the amount of $ 73,556.00 <br />prior to entry into the Phase V area.
