When it comes time for reclamation, this material will be brought back up and
mixed with fertilizer and the seed mix as was done on previous reclaimed areas within the pit. I believe at
least two previous reclaimed areas have been released, about 5 acres in 1995 and about 3 acres in 1999,
totaling about 8 acres. A photograph of the 5 acre site after reclamation is attached. Future reclamation
will be conducted in a like manner.
In response to the pit inspection on 7-29-2003 the material is stored on site, as it was for the
previous reclaimed areas, and will be used for future reclamation as per the mining and reclamation plan.
Sincgrely,
~~ ~~~
Rex Goodrich, PE
Region 3 Assistant Materials Engineer
Cc Candice Lukow
John Gunn
File
C'ADocumcnts and Sc¢mgs hen'ickc4_ocal Sdnnw'i'cngxrra r} InlcinCt Pilcd0LK48V fcelllncal Rceisiar ~)'n~ Pil ~ 36-04 for Junc I~ bean ntdoc
Paee I of I
