A field visit was made to the site in March <br />1998 by Mark Volt. A field visit was not made in 2005 due to snow <br />cover. Conditions since 1998 have not changed. The contents of <br />this report mirror the inventory and reclamation recommendations <br />given on the original plan in 1998. <br />SOILS: <br />Soils on the site are identified by the Grand County Soils <br />Survey as 81 Tine gravelly, sandy loam 0-3~ slope (See enclose <br />soils information). Topsoil overburden over the gravel is 8"-15" <br />inches thick. <br />EXISTING VEGETATION: <br />Existing vegetation is comprised of an old crested wheatgrass pasture. Species include big <br />sagebrush, crested wheatgrass and blue gramma. Basal plant density is 10-15go <br />RECLAMATION RECOMMENDATIONS <br />It is our understanding that upon completion of gravel removal that the site will be reclaimed as <br />livestock pasture/rangeland.
