StormwaterManagement Plan <br />Diversion ditches will be established to redirect runoff from areas <br />up gradient of the material stockpiles. These areas will be constructed to <br />drain all runoff. To accomplish this, material stockpile areas will be sloped <br />and benches modified to minimize erosion. Flows along the material <br />stockpiles will be contained in channels to minimize erosion. <br />Diversion ditches will be constructed along the west side, norkh side and <br />south side boundaries of the pit to route stormwater to a containment area. <br />All phases of the gravel pit operation or construction, will have the gravel <br />pit floor sloped to divert stormwater to the diversion ditches <br />aad to prevent erosion. <br />Access roads and haul roads within the mine gravel pit will cross and <br />intercept drainages within the various facilities. Cuh+erts or corrugated <br />pipe will be used if necessary. They will designed to accommodate the <br />peak 4ow and will be only temporary. Corrugated pipe will removed <br />during the reclamation of the gravel pit. <br />III. See maps for more details and location <br />fV. Testing for Non-Stormwater <br />
