Collins, CO 80521 Natiral ~SOOfOe Tni°cc <br />Re: Riverbend Operation, Permit No. M-2000-016, Amendment pA proval, Revision No. AM-1 <br />Dear Mr. Reckentine: <br />On November 18, 2005 the I?ivision of Minerals and Geology approved the Amendment application submitted ro the <br />Division on December 9, 2004, addressing the following: <br />Addition of 994 acres to the permit area for a total of 1231 permitted acres with addition of 448 affected acres <br />for a total of 668 affected acres. <br />The terms of the Amendment No. 1 approved by the Division will be incorporated into Permit No. M-2000-016 as soon <br />as sufficient bond is posted and approved by the Division. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-2000- <br />016 remain in full force and effect. <br />+^ The:revison will be issued when initial bond in the amount of $1,213,000.00 ($470,000.00 additional bond) is posted. <br />This amount must be posted prior to any disturbance as described below and by no later than November 17, 2006. The <br />initial bond of $1,213,000.00 covers the cost of stripping overburden and building berms for the aggregate plant site area, <br />including the areas designated for the concrete and asphalt batch plants, and including the first mining cell for the plant <br />site area that encompasses mining activities at the intitial tailings pond and fresh water pond on the Rittenhouse property <br />(plant site).
