PUBLIC NOTICE'
Platte Sand & Gravel LLC has filed an application amendment on their Reclamation Permit with
the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under the provisions of the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Act for the extraction of construction materials. The mine is known as the S & H Mine
and is located in parts of Sections 26, 34 and 35, T~-N, R~7-W, and parts of Sec. 2, T-3-N, R-67-W,
6th Principal Meridian, Weld County, Colorado.
The proposed date of commencement was 2001 and the proposed date of completion is
December 2100. The proposed future use of the land is developed water storage and private wildlife
area.
