Intensive aquatic survey of the algae,
invertebrates and fish of receiving streams for a CERCLA case.
- Proposed cobalt mine along the Little St. Francis River in southeastern Missouri.
Seasonal baseline aquatic biological survey of algae, invertebrates and fish in the
mainstem and a variety of tributaries.
- Monitoring of water storage reservoirs in west-central Colorado. Assisted in
processing and analysis of phytoplaakton samples and algal growth bioweays in a three
reservoir and associated stream water collection system.
- Biological survey of over 30 streams in eastern Tennessee for a governmental
agency. Processed biological samples and verified identifications of benthic
invertebrates from previous studies.
- Proposed oil shale project near the Licking River in eastern Kentucky. Conducted
a seasonal baseline survey of the aquatic biota of a variary of uributary streams
including quarterly invertebrate sampling and intensive larval fish pee-impoundment
entrainment study.
- Molybdenum mine along two tributaries of the Salmon River in central Idaho.
Collected and continue to process biological samples from stations on Thompson and
Squaw Creeks, vibutaries of the Salmon River, for a seasonal biological monitoring
program.
- Minimum flow issues near ski areas in central Colorado. Survey of existing
invertebrate communities, fish populations and water chemistry along with review of
hydrographs and IFl]vl modelling to address minimum flow recommendations.
- Instream trout habitat modelling at over 30 sites throughout the upper South Platte
River, Williams Fork River, Fraser River, and Blue River Hasitas using IF1M
methodology. Assisted with the design and implementation field site selections, data
accumulation, computer analysis and report preparation.
- Historic metal mining activity along the upper Dolores River in southwest Colorado.
Yearly biological monitoring following a seasonal baseline survey of the aquatic biota
is relation to water quality.
- Metal mine 1-nd_.pp?QIIQL 1Qt1811Y Jllpti4, tbP .lU1RGi„r.18L~..FR[k,~LY06rt$3tfi`t1s9'r64
a CERCLA case.
1979 Laboratory Techaiclaa IT, Department of Zoology sad Entomology, Colorado State
Uairenity. Duties included identification and enumeration of caddisfties from as altitudiaal
stream study in north central Colorado. Also, conducted a biological survey of a stream
recovering From drought in central Colorado.
1978-1979 Teaching Assistant, Department of Zoology and Entomology, Colorado State
Unlrercity. Duties included teaching 2-3 laboratory sections, preparipg quizzes and
grading lecture exams.
1975-1978 Research Assistant, Department of Zoology sad Entomology, Celarado State
University. Conducted a study investigating the effects of coal Haan drainage on
aquatic systems in northwestern Colorado. This study included detailed sampling,
identification, and nnelysis of benthic invertebrates of an adjacent stream as well es
physicochemical parameters, beathos and wopianktoa of strip mine ponds.
PROFESSIONAL SOCIE'I Y MEMBERSHIPS
American Eatomoiogical Society
APPENDIX A CONTINUED
