These maps axe based on
the 1999 topographic map. One map pertains to Exhibit C, the Mining Plan Map, and the other pertains to Exhibit
F, the Reclamation Plan Map. The only difference between them is that the second shows reclamation contours
consistent with the approved plan and some additional comments in the comment box. Some of the information in
the original approved plan is retained, but indicated as being changed. These include phase labels and the original
permit boundary fox the removed area. That boundary is now a series of fine lines rather than the bold dashed line.
Thus, future reviewers can see exactly what was altered in the original plan.
According to my calculations, the new permit area is 343.15 acres. This is derived by subtracting the 94.35 acres
removed for the plant site from the acreage in the latest amendment (L.ittle Johnson addition) which increased the
permit to 437.5 acres. Thus 437.5 - 94.35 = 343.15 acres. Only 36.15 acres remains on the west side of Academy
Boulevard with 307.00 acres on the east side of Academy. This revision has no influence on the plans on the east
side of Academy Boulevard.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely, ~j~/~~
r
Mark A.
