Technical Revision we submitted on November 21, 2006' on behalf of Carma Bayshore, LLC.
By your letter, the Division-has requested clarification of-(1) the commitment to two separate
monitoring plans, and (2) the timing o£the three=month perimeter drain effectiveness monitoring.
First, we are not actually proposing two separate monitoring plans, Rather,.we are proposing one,
' monitoring plan.that will span the course of twelve months to "identify any mounding aYtlie. site
and to evaluate the effectiveness ofthe perimeter drain. The three months of monitoring well.
data provides data for comparison Io'the trigger points for additional actions to alleviate any
excess mounding caused by the ineffectiveness of'the drain. This would occur over any given .
consecutive three-month'period, .including Apri1.1 through .July 1, but also May, l through
..August 1, and so on. .
For further clarification, we aze proposing monthly monitoring over the course of twelve months '
with quarterly reporting to the Division. Any three. consecutive months showing ground water
levels higher than the proposed trigger levels-will trigger additional action as proposed in the
Technical Revision; Thus; the schedule for reporting to the Division would be as follows: .
• By April 15 for the period January through March;
~ . By=July 15 for the period April through June;
By September 15 for the period July though September; -
~ .
