I.0 INTRODUCTION <br />• Battle Mountain Resources (BMR) Inc. proposes to develop the San Luis <br />Project from which gold will be produced. Mining and processing activities <br />will take place approximately four miles northeast of the town of San Luis <br />in Costilla County. Lands utilized by the project are privately owned. <br />The ore will be processed through a carbon-in-leach circuit to <br />recover the gold with tailings disposal in a lined disposal area. The <br />disposal area has been designed to contain water from the carbon-in-leach <br />circuit and storm flows from the PMP storm. The carbon-in-leach mill <br />facilities have been designed to provide containment and collection of any <br />spills within the mill building. <br />• <br />• <br />
