Exhibit D cont. <br />Our best estimate of development and marketing is that we may <br />expect to extract 180,000 to 215,000 tons of material per year of <br />which approximately 12% of this will be set-aside for use in contour <br />grading in the reclamation and re-dress of the land. <br />If this survey is correct, the total time of operation in- <br />eluding reclamation of this land will be approximately 10 years. <br />Because of the previous quarry work and disturbance on these <br />parcels, nominal rock thickness of quarry rock cannot be accurately <br />stated without a very extensive engineering survey that would be <br />too costly to be practical. The thickness of rock over the parcels <br />ranges from 1 ft. to 26 ft. in depth . <br />The nature of the material beneath the limestone is granite <br />bedrock as defined in the attached United States Dept. of Agriculture <br />soil interpretation charts. ( see Exhibit I) <br />-5- <br />
