This
letter certifies that the upgrades to the Mayflower Acid Dosing Station have been completed in
accordance with the plans submitted to DMG at the end of July 2004, with two minor changes as
described in your letter. The certification provided meets the requirements of Rule 7.3 of the Mineral
Rules and Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation Boazd. In accordance with Rules 7.3.1(5) and
7.3.2(3), the DMG hereby accepts the certification of the upgraded Mayflower Acid Dosing Station.
With this acceptance, Climax may put the upgraded stafion into service. Your letter mentions test
results for integrity testing of the acid tank, but no documentation of these test results was included
with the letter. As a condition of this certification acceptance, copies of the tank integrity test results
and the as-built drawings for the upgraded station must be provided to DMG by April 15, 2005. If any
problems develop with the meeting of this deadline, please contact me in advance. DMG would like to
take this opportunity to congratulate Climax on the successful construction of this substantially
upgraded Environmental Protection Facility.
Sincerely,
~~~~
Allen C.
