July 2003 <br />RECE@VEC <br />3B Enterprises <br />Deakins Pit SEP 102003 <br />EXttlblt °G" Oivisian at Minerals and GealogY <br />1) Operation is not expected to affect surface or ground water systems. <br />2) a) No tributary water courses, springs, stockwater ponds, reservoirs or ditches <br />are present on affected or adjacent lands other than the ditches and stock ponds <br />created during mining operations. There are no wells within 600 feet of proposed <br />mining operations (as per research done when filing for 5 acre well permit of Phase II <br />mining operation). <br />b) No known aquifers in area that will be disturbed. Water encountered in mining <br />is typical ground water from the Yampa River Basin. <br />c) Water from offwatering operations or from runoff will be pumped through <br />existing dewater/irrigation ditches and sediment ponds before discharging in the <br />Yampa River. Said discharge has a current rate of 3.8 mg/30 day average. Discharge <br />is covered under CDPHE Permit No. COG-500000, Facility No. COG-500419. <br />d) Water for proposed project Phase II if obtained from Well Permit No. 59661. <br />Flow rates for discharge are expected to be 22.8 mg/year over a 6 month period. <br />Water for reclamation is allowed 13.8 acre feet/year irrigation water. <br />
