(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of October 27`s through November 9~', 2002. The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 8° F to 33° F, and hi~hs ranged from 32° F to 53° F. Snow was recorded on October 27`h, 28`h, and 29`h and November 5` and 9` , 2002. Weather observations were made on all fourteen days of this fourteen day reporting period. CODStructlon $YIlopSIS Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVb and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb and c construction activities on all fourteen days of this fourteen day reporting period (October 27s' through November 9a'). Phase IVb Poly-Flex conducted repairs on previously deployed geomembrane. Destructive extrusion seam samples DX-14 through DX-16 were marked, removed, and tested. Ames continued placement of Structural Fill (SF) in the Phase IVb area. Ames placed SF above the Phase IVb sump. Ames also continued slope recontouring in the Phase IVb azea on Substation Hill, on . the South facing slope of Phase IVb below the 9624 road, and at the PSSA West end berm. Slope recontouring work on the Phase III ore slope and the PSSA West end berm was essentially completed
