H. Initial Reconnaissance of Drainage Network and South Boulder Creek's Hydrology, Highway 36 to Approximately the Wellman Ditch,Phase 11, for Urban Drainage and Flood Control District,the City of Boulder,the County of Boulder,by Taggart Engineering Associates,Inc.,March 19, 1997. Second phase of a study commissioned by UDFCD, County, and City to evaluate in more detail South Boulder Creek and the spill upstream of U.S. 36 and map in general the areas impacted by the west valley creek spills. Study recommendations stated that: the hydrology of South Boulder Creek should be restudied detailed floodplain mapping of the west valley creek overflow and appropriate hazard notification of the affected occupants should be done master plan for South Boulder Creek from the Flatirons Pit to Boulder Creek, including the west valley overflow, should be done I. The City incorporates into this statement the letters it has submitted to the Division dated April 22, 1997, May 12, 1997, and May 13, 1997, including all attachments. J. The City endorses the exhibits proposed to be submitted by Boulder County and other parties objecting to the approval of the Amendment. The City reserves the right to offer appropriate rebuttal exhibits at the hearing.
