Fremont County has applied for a conversion of their 110 type mining permit to a 112 type
reclamation permit located 13.25 miles south of Canon City, Colorado along County Road 143,
named the Oak Creek Pit. Fremont County will repair or replace any structures within 200 feet of
the affected land boundaries that may be damaged due to mining operations including ditches,
fence lines, roadways, or utility equipment.
