Rip Rapped spillway into
drainage ditch lined with rip rap which
drains into containment pond described in
#9.
#12. Rip Rap run down approximately 8' wide
and 75 Ft. long carrying drainage from
west side of haul road into pond No. 2.
#13. Rip Rap run down. 10' x 60' Carries
drainage from quarry area away from haul
road to the west. This drainage
eventually terminates at pond No. 2.
t
#14. Rip Rap run down. 4' x 201.
#15. Pond No. 1 Approximately 135 acre feet.
Rip Rap lined spillway. This containment
structure intercepts water from the
drainage west of the quarry and directs
it to the north east through an open
ditch into ponds No. 5, 6, and 7.
Historically, all of this drainage flowed
towards Tunnel Drive.
#16. 48' C.M.P. These arrows illustrate the direction of
flow from ponds No. 1 to No. 5, 6, and 7.
It also illustrates how the quarry
floor is sloped towards the ditch at
approximately 28.
#21. This alignment illustrates the newly
constructed haul road.
#22. A Containment area of approximately 1
acre foot. This is a natural containment
with no spillway.
#23.
