The application has been revised to indicate an increase of 52 acres and a total of 119.5 acres. 9. See Amendment No. 2 for a weed control plan. We have been spraying weed twice a year and will continue to do so on the azea added to the Permit. Backfilling will be done in a dry pit. The present plan is to dewater the pond on the East side of 23 Road and the small pond on the west side while mining phases II and III. The pump inlet will be screened. We are presently in the process of installing secondary containment for the smaller tanks. Secondary containmeni for larger tanks will be lined. The notification of hazardous material spill memo will be included in the Mining Plan. 11. If the lakes cannot be connected without dewatering, we will commit to setting up and maintaining a sprinkler system to water the cottonwood trees until the lake has refilled. This method has worked at other pits in the past. 24, We will commit to the replacement of three cottonwood trees for everyone mature tree lost as a result of the mining operation. This will include wire wrapping and watering of the trees. Bluebunch wheatgrass, western wheatgrass and needle-and-thread grass will be used in the place of crested wheatgrass. The NRCS will be consulted to determine seeding rates and planting methods. 27. Enclosed please find Warranty Deed and Quit Claim Deed conveying the property and mineral rights to Ronald and Marie Tipping.
