Comments contained herein are subject to <br />amendment upon receipt of additional plans, specifications, modeling and analysis by Anderson <br />Consulting Engineers, Inc., and/ or others. <br />Section 23-5-250.6 of the Weld County Code addresses the Floodway District which states: "No <br />development shall occur in the Floodway District with the exception of Floodproofed agricultural <br />exempt buildings. Agricultural exempt buildings are defined in Chapter 29." (Weld County <br />Codification Ordinance 2000-1; Weld County Code Ordinance 2001-1 ). <br />Given that a CLOMR is to be submitted to the appropriate Federal Agency in the near future, this office will <br />allow the 475 foot long spillway to be installed in the Floodway, although this device will technically alter <br />the existing watercourse.
