I own 67 acres
in the northeast corner of this section and ajacent to proposed mine.
My biggest consern is water management. They pump away the water
table down to bedrock when mining, this drys out adjoining crop
ground by pulling moisture from underneath. They should be required
to install a sealing wall prior to comencement. This has not been done
on existing mine (adjoining) which is near completion. Also they pump
this water into "Little D ry Creek" causing it to overflow onto my land
and flooding an area which will become useless wetland. I could con-
done this if they clean a portion of the creek past my land and build a
berm to prevent the flooding.
Thank you for every consideration.
William Gee 9-7-07
~GI,LC,~-rr~n j.L_n-~.-.,.
junomsg://01 DFD2E8/ 9/7/2007
