(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase PJb and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of March 9 <br />through April 12, 2003. <br />The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />Temperatures ranged from 7° F to 36° F, and highs ranged from 24° F to 63° F. Weather <br />observations were made on five days of this thirty-five-day reporting period. <br />Construction Synopsis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IV b <br />and c construction. Ames conducted Phase N b and c construction activities on four days of this <br />reporting period (Apri17, 9, 10, and 11). <br />Ames mobilized personnel and equipment off site for approximately 4 weeks during this reporting <br />period. <br />Phase FV b <br />Ames pumped water stored in the Phase IV PSSA Low Volume Solution Collection (LVSC) sump <br />to the Phase II pad periodically throughout the week of Apri17 through 11, 2003. <br />Ames used a Caterpillar D7 dozer to track down snow drifts on the Low Volume Solution Collection <br />Fill (LVSCF) to accelerate melting of the snow, and assist in prepazation of the Phase IVb PSSA <br />geomembrane deployment areas. <br />
