The intent of reclamation is to leave a series of lakes interconnected by land masses to be used for camping, hiking
and fishing.
2. The banks of the lakes are to be sloped at a ratio of 3:1 from finished grade to 10 feet below the expected water
level with no slopes steeper than a ratio of 2:1. (See detail this sheet)
3. The lakes will be stocked with fish, and the area landscaped with shrubs, grass and existing trees.
4. The topsoil will be replaced at a minimum depth of 6 inches and then seeded with a mixture of grasses as recommended
by the Soil Conservation Service.
5. The total cost of reclamation is estimated to be $13,650 plus augmentation of an estimated 0.51 c.f.s. of water to
offset evaporation losses. The applicants interest in Priority No. 9 of the Rist and Goss Ditch is 4.27 c.f.s. of
which a portion will be used for this purpose.
