Cattany <br />AtWOOd, ~`~ 80722 Division DireLYOr <br />/ / r/ Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Washington/County's Nicholson Gravel Pit, Permit No. M-1986-048, Transfer of Permit and Succession of <br />Operator Decision to Approve and Request for Financial Warranty, SOS <br />Deaz Mr. Reese: <br />On February 25, 2005, the Division of Minerals and Geology decided to approve the Transfer of Permit and Succession of <br />Operator application submitted to the Division on February 7, 2005, addressing the following: <br />Transfer of Permit No. M-1486-048 from Washington County to Reese Contracting. <br />On yow application form you initialed Option A, which specifies that the Division would recalculate the required bond prior to <br />approval of the transfer. The estimated liability of the reclamation bond has been calculated to be $43,357.00. A copy of the <br />bond calculation is enclosed. Please note that this financial warranty was calculated based on the currently approved permit <br />which states that all reclamation will be done at the conclusion of mining and that all mining will be done at 3H to I V slopes <br />with no highwalls created during mining. Any changes to the mining or reclamation plans could result in significant changes in <br />the financial warranty. Please submit a financial warranty in tbe amount of $43,357.00 and a Performance Warranty withinthe <br />next 60 days. <br />The transfer of Permit No. M-1996-052 will NOT be final until the bond and performance warranty are <br />approved by the Division. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me or Bazbaza D.
