All landscaping and revegetation should use only native species. I strongly encourage revegetation with <br />native grasses including tall wheat grass, intermediate wheat grass, switch grass. Some trees and shrubs that <br />should be considered in the revegetation effort are native plum, cottonwood and willow. These native plantings <br />should be done throughout the reclaimed area, but with some concentrations on the shorelines. <br />Future development in the site in the light industrial and possibly residential areas could have long term <br />impacts. The Division of Wildlife is available to assist in the mitigation process for these developments in any <br />way possible. <br />Again, thank you for the opportunity to comment on this development. I welcome the chance to be <br />involved inland use changes in this azea. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions <br />regazding these comments or with any future concerns.
