HBCLAMATIOH PLAH
BBHIBIT D (Cont'd)
Page ?wo
8. Specify any ponds, streams, roads and buildings that will
remain after reclamation: Devil Creek will remain far east of
the pit, then a dike. The pit will become the pond. Other
than water fowl nesting boxes, there will be no buildings.
The access will stay.
9. Reclamation treatment of hydrologic balances: When
reclamation is completed, the water level will be 1-2' below
the meadows with the remaining raising the water table,l-2'.
The ponds will therefore be part of sub-irrigation system.
10. Financial warranty: As the goal of this mining operation is
the ponds and the only disturbance outside the pit will be a
175' road and a small area without topsoil to store the last
of the sand on the last Phase IV, which will become part of
reclamation as a lake, I ask that the financial warranty be
waived.
1
