On November 8, 2006, the Mined Land Reclamation Division received your request for Financial Warranty Reduction
for the Ignacio Pit, Permit No. M-1977-446. We have determined that the following information must be submitted to
complete the requirements of Rule 4.14 and Rule 4.17 of the Construction Material Rules and Regulations and C.R.S.
34-32.5-117(5) of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials (a copy of this
Rule and Statute are enclosed for your information):
Rule 4.14.1(21(b): include an estimate of the actual cost to reclaim the site based on what it would cost an
independent contractor to complete reclamation including unit costs for reclamation activities as appropriate
to the operation to comply with the provisions of Section 3.1 and the Permit's Reclamation Plan.
Rule 4.17.1(2): The Operator shall included in the notice to the Office the names and addresses and phone
numbers of all owners of record to the affected land.
Rule 4.17.1(3): The written notice requesting release shall be sent by Certified Mail and be separate from
other types of communication to the Office.
