CAMEO GRAVEL <br />EXHIBIT K <br />Climate <br />The sites contained in this application range in elevation from 5020 to 5260 feet on plateaus or <br />mesas overlooking the Colorado River channel. <br />Surrounding higher terrain channel winds to be parallel with the river channel. Morning winds <br />are moderate and flow Southwesterly or downstream with the river. Late afternoon winds can <br />be very gusty and flow Northeasterly and upstream with the Colorado River. <br />The low elevation keeps snow accumulation minimal and usually non-existent on the South <br />facing slopes. <br />Annual precipitation for the site is 12 to 13 inches. <br />Average Winter temperatures range from 16° low to 50° high. <br />Average Summer temperatures range from 60° iow to 94° high. <br />
